President Ilham Aliyev: All urban planning and environmental standards are fully respected in territories liberated from occupation

“Entrepreneurship is growing. I support this, and many steps are being taken in this direction. However, all rules must be followed, especially in construction, agriculture and tourism. You have to see how well a facility under construction meets the architectural style of this or that region, how well it meets modern standards, whether its construction coefficient is up to standard or not,” President Ilham Aliyev said as he spoke. he received Araz Ahmadov on his appointment as head of the Masalli District Executive Authority, Akbar Abbasov on his appointment as head of the Lerik District Executive Authority and Elvin Pashayev on the occasion of his appointment as head of the Goygol District Executive Authority.

“Unfortunately, many high-rise buildings that have been built in Baku do not comply with any urban planning standards. Why? Because illegal things have been done. The heads of the district executive authority issued illegal permits and, therefore, the principles of urban planning have suffered a severe blow. Therefore, it is very difficult to fix them now. At this stage, however, we cannot allow the norms of urban planning to be violated. By example, all urban planning and environmental standards are fully respected in the territories liberated from occupation – in fact, the standards of the most developed countries in the world”, added the Head of State.
